Well, our Badmail folder is getting flooded, even though I have relaying turned off. Any ideas of what to do?

Sorry I am not knowledgeable enough to give you 100% help but let me ask a few questions to help you (may be?):

~ Are you experiencing excessive spoofing/spamming?
~ when you said relaying, did you mean 'forwarding" ? If not, disable that too.
~ How many days is the 'Deleted mail retention' set to? Would lowering the # of days help?

...that is it for now, you might get someone who might suggest better things until then check these settings.

We were experiencing excessive spoofing/spamming until I disabled relaying. But the badmail folder is still filling up.

Man, I know almost nothing about Exchange Server 2003 but I'll feel bad if I didn't try to help you so here is the link I ran into that might help you out since it is a very similar problem.

Hope it helps, Good Luck! ;)
