Excitement in Cranbrook.

Huge fire in town last night. No injuries fortunately. Pretty much the whole block gone.

Yes. They were insured, including the couple who waited to be rescued on the roof. They owned two stores and lived above so they lost everything.

The interesting thing here is all the major fires in the last ten(?) years are empty lots now. Two hotels, two restaurants, one is boarded up had two fires in a couple of weeks, and a school.
