Exe files won't stay associated! HELP

I just ran RegScrubXP 3.25 and now nothing opens!! No program stays associated...

RegScrubXP is a very powerful registry cleaner you should be able to restore the changes it has made with the restore function in the program. if this is unsuccessful i suggest you use system restore and go back to a date before you made these changes.

I tried to "restore" regscrub's backup, but I get an error, because nothing is executing....I checked my open/command key in the registry and it has proper "%1" %*...I tried system restore immediately, and get the same "windows cannot open this file. rstrui.exe

 

ok have a look in folder options go to file types find .exe highlight and hit the advance tab check to see if the %1 is at the end if this extension.if .exe is not in the list add it here is something that may help you also

exe was not in the list so I added it, but I am unclear where the %1 should be added....
