Experiencing some very weird things, please help.

I have run ad-aware, spysweeper, and S&D. When I right click on a folder my dialog boxes are missing text and buttons. Like if I look at my IE options box, it is distored and all ****ed up looking. I have never heard of this problem before. After I run HJT and try to save the log, I get some dialog box that is blank. Or if I try and hit "save as", I get the same ****ed up box. Any idea what is going on? I would post my log but I can't save the file as I can't see anything when I try. Thanks for any help offered.

anything you have or download make sure they are up to date

make sure you follow them very closley
make sure that when you are requested for a HJT log
you know how to do it properly( see above link)

I guess it doesn't matter anymore. I just got done moving some things to the D drive when I rebooted my computer and got some error message about some config file in the windows system directory is missing or corrupt. So I am just going to buy a new hard drive and re-load windows on it and not worry about it. I guess it was a little too late, so thank god that I still have my laptop. THanks for the help anways.
