Exploits, spyware, phishing and IE...

A friend put me onto the site and I spent a good hour reading through several of the articles at this link. http://www.eweek.com/category2/0,1738,1237860,00.asp Read through the whole page because there are at least 15 articles about new spyware, phishing and viruses that are out in the wild now. Verrrrry scary!

There can be no punishment bad enough for the creeps that set this stuff loose on our PCs. We don't tolerate home breakins and robbers, this stuff is just as invasive and violates our personal property.

yep, I finally made the swtich over to FireFox. Just got too tired of hearing about the enormous amount of flaws in IE. Enough is enough ; I hope Windows XP SP2 fixes IE, especially considering the vast amount of people who are dangerous enough to use windows but don't know about alternative browsers.

 

Oh I hear ya... I installed Mozzilla FireFox this afternoon on a work PC and will be playing with it. It sure looks like it will do everything IE and Netscape do and isn't as insecure...
