explore.exe

I understand that this is a lefover from a virus, however i cannot get rid of explore.exe
I did a search and returned nothing I also ran 2 different antivirus programs......
any suggestions???

 

explorer.exe is your windows shell. without it you have no start menu no taskbar nothin

explorer.exe is however explore.exe is a leftover froma virus look it up on google

1 more way of fixing it since for me that programm by symantec kept crashing

start run services.msc
under name tag find explore and disable it

 

you can download the stinger tool from mcafee and run it. that is really good at removing worms like that

Yea my explorer.exe is always not responding every time i open for example ventrillo. Stupid xp. grr

 

Don't blame XP for your third party software problems.
