    Hi guys,

    Here is my problem :(

I have one sata hard drive running my OS and one extra IDE hard drive. I can see the extra drive in disk management but it doesn't have a volume assigned to it. It does have partitions and doesn't look corrupted. How can I see and access my hard drive in explorer again?

Note: I'm pretty sure I "lost" this drive during a flickering power outage

    I'd really appreciate the help!

    EDIT:

    I'm sorry wrong thread.

Does disk management show it as unallocated space?

The space is allocated but there is no file system.

The file system could be damaged on the drive.

Does it show up as a drive letter? If so you can try and run
    Code:
    chkdsk External Drive Letter: /f

There is no drive letter. Is there a way to fix the file system and still keep all my data?
