Explorer crashes!! Help please

Im running Windows 98, 500 mhz, 64 mb of RAM, and have a 10 GB hard drive.
When ever I start my PC I get a Runtime error program window saying:

"The application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact application support team for more information"

I restart and keep on getting the same message, I have done a Hijack this log, just waiting for permission to post it up.

Give us a little more info on your problem. You mention Explorer crashing, is this happening when you are using Internet Explorer and does the runtime error give you any more details?

Have you been having trouble with Spyware and tried removing certain malware, any kind of specifics will help.

This is a message that appears as soon as I start up my PC. I haven't tried any spyware removal programs as of yet. I could post you my Hijack this log if that will help.

 

The link I provided you is where I would start. Runtime errors are difficult to diagnose and a HJT log is really the last step if you think this might be Spyware related.

So, with the info you are getting, that is my suggestion. Be sure and follow the instructions, it will save you a lot of time and trouble.

I tried Ad-ware but it freezes in the middle on the scan, I tried reinstalling and it still has the same results. Spybot found nothing wrong.
