    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I'm moving this to the Software Forum since this is more likely a software (possibly hardware) issue than it is malware.

Explain what you are trying to copy and paste because exe files are not meant to be copied and pasted.
    1. You open Explorer
    2. You find an exe file and then you select Edit and either Ctrl + c or choose copy

    Now what?

all EXE files because Explorer.exe crashed when i tried to install Adobe Photoshop it crashed also i think there is something in registry or a program trying to conflict in explorer.exe. or SP2 has some serious issues about this

Give one example of an exe file and then tell me exactly where you are trying to paste it.

    Be specific.

    Does the computer halt,

Is an error message displayed? If so what

    Take heart

I don't think you are yet at the edge of reinstallation. Even if you have to do this a repair install would not loose your stuff.

What sort of recovery have you? If you have a wndows CD have you tried running the system file checker?

open a command window (type 'cmd' into the run box)
typein sfc /scannow (note the double n)

You can check your memory with Memtest or Memtest 86

Or you can take out clean and swop round /re insert the modules.
