explorer.exe doctor watson crash

on boot, the explorer.exe crashes the desktop while loading. the doctor watson app then freezes the system.

ctl alt del brings the task manager up, where i can close doctor watson, and the explorer.exe loads fine, and the system runs as normal

tried this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...=49e589ae-2f93-48dc-a39a-c9d98dada7a5&pf=true to correct the problem but it didn't work

any ideas?

it is something i can live with as this is a back-up drive with xp on it that i was recently forced to use.

be nice if i could fix it while i'm here though
