Explorer.exe troubles

    Windows Explorer has stopped responding. I can't open my control panel, my computer, and who knows what else. It seems to have happened after using Defrag for Windows. Any ideas that don't start with 'format' would be helpful.

    What operating system are you using?

    Have you tried System Restore if available?

    Have you tried opening them in Safe Mode?
