explorer.exe using too much ram

What Windows version are you using?

Have you installed any software before this happened or when did this start?

Have you run Antivirus/malware scans, if so did they highlight anything?

Possible is malware and to double check run the below and IF anything is found in the scans then start a new thread in the Malware forum and post some basic info ans windows version and if you have any strange occurances.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
