explorer & firefox hang and never appear

    Win 98, 256mb, pent II
    can ping network and net succesfuly
    Other compys on network fine

    Click on explorer it doesnt ever appear.
    IE fix does nothing
    Its hanging out in the process list

    installed firefox and it does the same!

    spyware is clean
    no firewall

    Anyone know why both of them wont work?

    So I didnt think it was spyware cause I just removed it a few weeks ago, but I ran everything again and found 400. go figure. everything works now.
