Explorer hang error1005: shell32.dll missing

When I click on start then explore all I get hung and an error. I sent it to MS and got response id 884070 to look at error log and identify event property. Shell32.dll fault . I ran dchkdsk and defrag. this file wouldn't defrag I tried to restore to earlier with no luck.
In the error log I found:
harddisk 0\D bad block
explorer.exe 6.0 2900 2180 shell32.dll fault
msmsys.exe 4.7.3.3001 hangup
drwtrn32.exe 5.1.2600.0 module dbahelp.dll hangsup
msimn.exe 6.0.2900.2180 faultbusket

I'm running winxp-sp2 plus updates to now.
my presario 6370 has 512mb at 2.53 ghz w/120 gb ultra DMA HD

Can I get and reload the exec files?
How?
Are they in the win dir as $... files ?
On the recovery disk?

This problem may have started when MS antispy hung up.
I had to shut it down and remove it and reinstall. Ok now.
Also had a problem w/explorer and a jump drive.

I found the answer on MSAS forum.
Run: regsevr32 msvbm60.dll
Then run: sfc /scsnnow
I did these then stopped and restarted MS antispyware.
It has worked.

Just a suggestion:

When the computer boots up do the following:

Click start, then run, then type in cmd and press enter

Now a command shell will appear:

type in:

chkdsk c: /r

hit enter

it will ask you whether or not to schedule a chkdsk on another reboot, say yes.

type in: exit
hit return (enter)

reboot your machine
