External DVD-R/RW question..

    Hello Forum,
    I have a Dell Dimension 8200 Win XP sp1 with USB 2.0. I have been reading the install notes on my external DVD/R-RW. 1. It says to install the USB 2.0 drivers that come on the CD. I would like to know that since I already have usb 2.0 installed, do I have to reinstall the drivers they give me on the CD.
    2. They also give me Nero Express 6. Since I already have Roxio Easy CD Creator installed with my first CD-RW drive (D0, can I install Nero and have Roxio at the same time or should I unistall Roxio and use Nero for both drives? Thank you for any help you can give me...

    Just plug the external drive in and if it needs any drivers XP will alert/prompt you to incert a driver disk..... if it works without adding any other drivers then great, less to go wrong.


    as for Nero and EZCD installed at the same time its perfectly ok, I have both of those apps installed right now with no issues at all.
