External hard drive

Hi im thinking about buying a external hard drive as games don't really run on my pc. So if i install & save the game on the external hard drive it would solve my problem. would this work thanks

 

Depends if they won't run because hard disk space is the issue?

If the computer is a low spec then an external drive isn't going to help you at all.

Can you post some specs at all?

Need to know cpu speed (1.19ghz as you said, but the brand and model, such as Intel Celeron etc), memory type, graphics etc.

240mb RAM? That's why your computer is struggling to play games! Need at least 512mb nowadays, 1gb if you can afford it.

 

how do i get it upto 512mb or 1gb?

 

We're talking about hardware, the only way to upgrade hardware is buy new. There is a stick attached on your motherboard, that's the memory (RAM). If you wish to have more RAM you can buy one or more new sticks and put them on your motherboard. It's not as simple as this, choosing these sticks can be difficult.
