    Hey guys!

Hope everyone is safe, healthy and happy as can be :)

Quite a while ago, my external HDD decided to flip me the bird and died.. sort of... All data is there, but cannot be accessed (all maps show as a (I believe) text file, and cannot be opened). Going to ask a friend and see if they can find a way to retrieve my photos on that disk, the rest I don't care about.. (family photos)

Now, I am looking to buy a new one, to save a copy of my music, and my game recordings (being a gamer, those clips can be dang convenient to hunt cheaters and other nonsense, or just to have fond memories of a great game ^^)
I am a little unsure, what would be a better choice for this purpose, to save my recorded games and music: HDD or SSD?

    Thank you, in advance ^^

    Best wishes, Marti :)
