External HD with work w/ both Mac & Windows

    I'm wondering if there is a external hard drive out there that will let me download data from a Mac. Then connect it to my windows based laptop and retrieve that data?? Do they use the same file structure??

    MacOS can read and write fat32 just fine. NTFS...its read only.
