extracting a picture

Hi, this is what I need, I found a picture in the internet that I like, but instead of saving it, I just right clicked in it and saved it as a screensaver.
Now i would like to save it in my pictures folders.
But where in my pc the picture is?.
I almost forgot, the site from where I took it is not there anymore.

What OS are you using?

 

More likely you saved it as a wallpaper image. It varies from one operating system to another, but generally Windows saves it as a file named "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp". Do a search for that, and it should be your picture, with the location.

 

G.T. is most likely right on the money. But, if you did save it as a screensaver, and you are using XP, it might be in your Windows\System32 folder, in a .scr file.
