My faithful NAS recently failed due to a interface error /Power supply failure .I have managed to extract the disc and it seems to be working ok >The problems seems to be recognising the disc when attached to a laptop via a disc dock .Windows 7 doesnt seem to recognise the drive , but when going into disc management via control panel it seems to recognise it as a healthy disc .I assume it to do with the /share protocol .How do i extract the files of which i have approx 252GB of music on there .Thanks for any help

    :-D

    regards,

    Peter

Can you assign it a drive letter in disk management? What are the options when you right click on the drive in disk management?
