F.E.A.R. sp demo problem

hi guys, i need help with this demo, i just downloaded it twice from 2 differnt sites and reinstalled, it still does this....i install and when i go to start it up the screen turns black like its going to do somethin and then it says 'FEAR has encountered a problem and needs to close, when i send the error message it says that the LAME project is the problem and that there is no solution as of now. i have a 3200+ ath , 2gig ram and a new radeon x800...i should be able to handle this game right? really want to play this damn game

 

there is a fix,i had to use it in order to play the fear demo also. i dont remember exactly what i did lol, but u have to boot windows in safe mode and change the my/owner documents setting so that the fear game has that folder to write to. its how the game installs its weird i know. maybe someone here can tell u how to change that folders settings,its been a while and i dont remember exactly sorry. but it worked perfect afterwards

checked out forums and still have problem, cant figure it out
