F-prot working?

I have just installed the trial version of f-prot, replacing Norton SystemWorks 2005 which was not working on my Windows 98SE system.

The installation seemed to go OK, but I don't see any verification that my
e-mail (Eudora) is being scanned. With Norton, there was a delay while the program scanned and showed a little magnifying glass. Running under f-prot is so much quicker that I am worried that it is not scanning my e-mail. How can I confirm this, please?

Thanks very much. Hope I am on the correct forum.

Thanks, Halo! F-prot sure is a lot faster, and much less a user of resources
    than SystemWorks 2005 on Win98SE.

Yes, it is. One thing, Bartolo: You can't actually turn OFF the e-mail scanning in F-Prot, not even by editing the reg or futzing the program settings. It's hard-wired, so don't worry about it.

When an evildoer hits your inbox, F-Prot will have a fit, and you'll know about it before you even read your mail, much less open attachments. And when you go to your attachments and just open the folder they're in, F-Prot will yell at you again, and once again if you look in the Recycle Bin before youy empty it (after you delete the infected file from your attachments folder).

    It's great protection.
