facebook "archives"

the "delete" button (x) for message threads in FB reads "archive" on hover.

i was actually planning to delete something outiright, but now i'm intrigued. have they just been MOVED somewhere?

been all over the place looking now; can't imagine WHERE they went.

btw, why can't u delete individual MESSAGES? it's whole thread or nothing!

 

You have to open the message, in order to delete it. Otherwise if you archive it, you have to go into your archived messages, click on the message, and then choose delete from the drop down.

 

where the heck ARE those?!

i don't see ANYTHING to the effect of "archives".....
