Facebook Follow Button

Hello group,

I have a few Facebook accounts and I can see the Follow Option on one account and not on the other when I view the profile...I have tried the steps to allow Following on Facebook on my new Account but it did not change anything. The button is there on other people's profiles and even on my old account but not on the new Account.

Does anyone know how to fix this?? Please let me know if you do!

I want the Follow button to appear on my profile page like it appears on everybody else's profile, for those who allow following, understand?

And by the way i don't know if I am following my other account, but probably because it might do so when we add an account automatically, same with any other account i guess? Maybe not sure.

I add my other accounts because I can add mutual friends and look at mutual friends list and send messages to myself....

 

Click on the drop arrow at top right, select settings, then on the LHS select Public posts.
Then in the setting for 'Who Can Follow Me' toggle to Public.

 

That is what I did and did it many times, the Follow button still does not show up on my profile page...
