facebook help

I turned off my wall so that people cannot post on my wall,
I cannot figure how to change this

I think the Wall is also called Timeline?
so I followed these directions found on facebook
How do I control who can see posts that friends make on my Timeline?

To select the audience for stuff your friends share on your Timeline:

Click in the top right of any page and select Settings
Click Timeline and Tagging in the left column
Look for the setting Who can see what others post on your Timeline? and click Edit to the far right
Select an audience from the dropdown menu

Keep in mind, posts on your Timeline may appear elsewhere on Facebook to the audience they're shared with, such as in News Feed and search.

I don't have the bolded
so I just have no idea what to do?
Can someone help me out? I want my friends to be able to post on my wall

namely, changed my privacy settings

I did that, but there is no change when I look at my profile as someone else
thought?

yeah, I think it's figured out. the issue was hampered by
1 facebook not calling the wall, the wall, its the "timeline". that I don't really know what it is

2. when I looked at my profile FROM my profile, but as a friend, nothing changed
when I logged in as someone else and looked at my profile, things changed.

The person could NOT help me with my issues, anymore than they did with my IPHONE

How do I use my $200 IPHONE 5s to tell me a date/TIME of a picture I just took?
apparently you need a 3rd party app to figure this out
even though my $20 RUMOR phone did it fine(and has an SD card, etc etc)

so if you can answer what I bolded, I'd appreciate it, BUT I think I need a 3rd party app.
