Facebook not running smoothly on two different browsers

I know not many of you here are fans of facebook, however I use it alot for my local nature photography group. Last couple days has been rough going, with Internet Explorer and Firefox. In Firefox the browser stutters, scrolling is difficult, it hangs, it crashes and warns me of unresponsive scripts.

In Internet Explorer alot of the comments people make on facebook, are not visible to me, where as I can see them in firefox, it still isn't a smooth experience. Any one else having trouble with Facebook??
