how can i makemy facebook account not findable by google/yahoo/etc using my name or email

 

Go into your Facebook PRIVACY settings. Make whatever details (inc email) you wish to remain private just to YOU.

I have the setting
"do you want search engines outside of facebook to link to your profile" set to NO
yet I can still google myself and get my facebook acount

 

Facebook > top right hand corner > a black down arrow > settings > privacy
There are three sections to edit.
You need to get to know the ins and outs of using a web-based app. Only you can do that.

 

As Max said select Settings then Privacy then
Who can look me up?
Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile?
Select No

 

I appreciate the reply BUT, I already had that setting that way and I still find myself via google

OHHH I was signed into FB when i did the search
when not signed into FB, I can't find myself via google
