Fades,locks

I am using Windows XP SP2 with I.E.6 Windows has been updated. My issue is with IE 6, although I also use FF, and Chrome and the issue does not occur with either of them. On this paticular web site, (notice the clarity of the screen on the before shot) this is how the screen looks before I place the bid. After I enter the bid amount and click place bid, the screen looks and stays like this (after shot). The amount is not entered and the screen freezes. This is one issue I am having with IE6, others are flickering script in the task bar on certain webs, problems downloading some images, etc. Any advice would be grateful. Thanks in advance

 

Possibly some sort of popup blocker preventing a window from coming up to complete the bid?

 

Update Internet Explorer! IE8 is the most up-to-date version of IE for Windows XP, and it's standards support is massively improved.

In all probability, the site you are visiting no longer supports IE6. Not even Google does anymore.

This version of IE should work more closely to how Firefox and Chrome do.
