failed delay load of mscorlib.dll

when trying to play rakion (not sude if it does this in other games i get failed to delat load of mscorlib.dll. whats wrong ahh and do i fix this.

edit- in the taskbar it shows a picture of the ATi icon and says "Fatal Error" for this error

System specs are 1.8ghz AMD Turion ML-34 (64 bit)
ATi Radeon X200 Mobile
1 Gig DDR RAM (3200?)
XP SP 2

What version of .Net Framework are you using?

If it's 1.1, then go to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 and rename mscorlib.dll to mscorlib.old. (It will recreate the file, but only do this for this version)

Then start the application that was causing this error and see if it has resolved it.


If that fails, then you can try to repair it via Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Micro$$oft .Net Framework Wizards.

Click Fix an Application and see if the program causing this is listed then highlight and click OK.

 

yeah i tried taht trick with 1.1... still crashed but i will try it again

 

well this is what i did.. did some fixing on some apps in the wizard.. deleted the file and so far no problems. knowing my luck i will proibably encoutner then again :|
sometimes i egt the errors sometimes i dont like last night it was fine but this morning it wasnt.. while i didnt shutdown my computer since then it DID go into hibernate since it was plugged in (oops)

 

A fix!!

Ok dude I was having same problems with mine I could not get erecovery and xfire cloner and some other programs to work I waslike "F-" I tried reformating but I couldn't eRecovery.exe was giving same error after trying to tweak my pc and hacking it by changing the coding of mscorlib.dll I finally just did the stupidist thing I should of done in the beginning
Now listen closely
1.Click on start menu -.-
2.Control panel XD
3. Look for .NET Frame 2.0 (Only 2.0 thats where mscorlib.dll is)
4. Click on change/remove
5 Select button that says "Repair"
6.Then next and keep going till it finishes
Omg dude when I was doing it out of no where after it was done the software that keep poping up giving meh a error that mscorlib.dll is missing came up with no error I was like WTF I fixed it!! GOD F- YEAH!

Yeah old thread i start I did end up fixing it but I dont remember how, doesnt matter anyways that laptop is no longer in service.
