Failure of SYSTEM RESTORE app

    Hi all,

    I have a bit of an issue on my hands.

    I need to roll back a PC running XPSP2 and when I run the restore app, it falls over saying:

    "System Restore Application has encountered a problem and needs to close" etc etc.

    I have the option to send a report to Micro$oft, which is just lovely. (Maybe they will send a get well soon card if I send it!)

    I have restarted the pc and the behavior is the same.

    Anyone with any clues - I would really appreciate the help.
