Fan(s) Question.

Would it do harm to your computer if you have two fans for the system fan Glued together, and power going to both? I know it'd be loud but is there a chance i'll blow something up?

 

Probably would be ok however it could harm the fans and probably decrease the airflow

 

Do you mean one mounted directly in front of the other (so one is blowing THROUGH the other one) or sitting on top of each other? On top of each other is OK (as long as you have openings in the case for both) but blowing into another one that close would have air flow problems I would think causing overheating of one or both.

Depends on how you hook them up, series or parallel - series will draw more power (not much ) and parallel will run the fans slower (and quieter) - or is that the wrong way around - research please, it's late here ^^.

The physical location will also have an effect on how efficiently they control the temperature in your PC - don't allow them to work against one another. Side by side if ok, opposite sides of the case, probably not.

 

Ones blowing through the other, There seems to be more airflow, temps are a little better too.. Just noisy, I just wanted to try it out, I'll probably unhook it cause not much of a diff. lol.

 

Blowing one through the other will create more noise, losing some cooling efficiency in the process; try rigging the second fan to blow up into the exhaust fan/intake for the PSU (assuming a tower/standard ATX PSU).
