Far Cry 2 The Next Generation FPS

Any Far Cry fans? I would like to hear some feedback on the new sequel.

Far Cry® 2, the next-generation first-person shooter from Ubisoft, will take you deep into the most beautiful but also most hostile environments in the world.

 

Was looking for reviews. I should of made that clear.

 

Pretty good game huge world.Lots to do with the interesting missions few probs here and there.Such as the shooting if you love CoD4 then your gonna have minor problems with this its not as assured,but that shouldnt ruin your experience with the game.

 

I've played about three hours worth on a mid range system. I like it a lot. The openness is really nice and the world is huge. There is a lot to do, and it changes things up a bit so you won't get bored.

 

Pros.
Runs smoothly even on a mid-range rig (w/8800GT) @ 1680x1050.
Beautiful environments.
Edit: Huge explorable world.
Good audio
Reasonably open ended way to tackle tactical objectives.
Bug-free. for me atleast.

Cons
Dumb AI.
Dumb AI.
Enemies (and your character too) can take a full clip and continue living.
Some of the missions are repetitive and a bit boring.
Did I mention the dumb AI.

7/10 from me.

I am still trying to figure out why its called far cry 2. There are no ties to the orginal unless they tie it in at the very end.

It is fun, I still like the first one better. I have played the first one several times. I really would not call it the next generation fps. After the release of cod 4 there is just not much to impress.
