Fastest way to transfer a 4 GB of files over internet?

I was copying a DVD to someone's hard drive, but forgot to take the DVD out when the taxi arrived for her flight. I'd like the person to send the contents to me now so that I can burn it at this end, rather than going through regular (international) mail. What's the fastest way to send/receive a dozen 350MB files from one computer to another?

Currently I'm using Skype, which going at 50 KB/s, but this is for future reference as well. Thanks in advance.
