    Hello everyone.

So I just got this new HDD that's Fat32...now, I have some pretty large files, but the thing is, it won't go into the HDD because it says it can't hold files larger than 4 gigs...is there any way around this?

yeah, the thing is, that FAT32 supports only files less or equal to 4Gb, NTFS doesnt have such limitations.

How would i be able to do get it to be NTFS?
    Is reformatting it really required?

it your hd clean you can reformat it with NFTS file system, format x: /fs:ntfs where x is the letter of your drive.
if you have precious data on it, i think it's better to use disk utilities, like disk director.
