Favorite Thermal paste?

What is your favorite thermal paste?

I like Noctua NT-H1

 

I like an Artic Silver product - Arctic Silver Ceramique.

I recommend it over the Artic Silver 5 in that it is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive . . . the Artic Silver 5, while not conductive, is slightly capacitive and needs to be kept away from electrical traces, pins, and leads or it can cause problems.

I have used both, actually, and found both to be equal in performance as far as I can detect. I suppose if you are a rabid, to the edge overclocker the Artic Silver 5 is your ticket, as it does boast better performance specs . . . but for general installation and some mild overclocking the Ceramique works fine and is cheaper.

 

ive used arctic silver 5 in alot of my builds, cools like a champ, ive even gone back to my older builds and took the old paste off to put arctic silver 5 on:-D

 

I can't vote because I don't have enough experience with anything else but AS5 except the pre-applied crap that I always removed from HSFs. I'm sure they're all good. Still have the tube I bought years ago and will use it again for my i7 build next year. Plenty of goop left in there for another build.

 

I typically use the generic that comes with the HS. One day I may change my mind, but as of yet, I haven't had an issue in many years.
