Favorites IE6 XP

everytime i delete something in my favorites it comes back the next day. this is making me nuts. i right click on it and choose delete. it looks like it's gone but whatever i delete comes back in my favorites the next day. what can i do?

 

Go to Favorites >> Organize Favorites >> Select what you want to delete ....

 

i have done that many times. i've deleted this way and by right clicking and deleting. it still comes back the next day

 

I don't use IE, but I gave it a go, for the default favorites. On deletion they go to the Recycle Bin. And do not come up when the browser is reinvoked .... HHmmm

 

i have deleted and emptied the recycle bin and they still come back. BUT not until the next day.
