Favorites on AOL going crazy

AOL has their own blue file folder on favorites list. It has 3 subfolders with one item in each.
I don't want this folder and I asked how to delete it and they said that I cannot.
I put it at the bottom closed and when I come back it is open and on top again.
I've deleted the items in the subfolders and closed it and it still opens and then puts itself on top.
Sometimes if I place an item in favorites, it will delete it if the aol folder opens.

Any one know how to fix this?
