favorites

Have new laptop with vista premium. My favorites will not display my entries.
When I click on favorites a page comes up that says the favorites list is on the c/drive. When I go into my documents all my entries are there. Need help to fix.

Since I haven't used vista yet, i can't be 100%. But if MS didn't change the structure, your favorite folder should be under your profile folder (C:\Documents and Settings\"your Name"\favorites). If you can copy the favorite files and move it there, it may show up on your browser.

I am not very computer smart. I tried to do what you said but it did not work for me. What I really want to know is when i add a entry in my favorites it won,t show up there. Instead it will go to my documents.

Is this your personal laptop? Do you have administrative rights for this laptop? Reason I'm asking is, it may got to do with security...
If this IS your personal laptop, let's try this. instead of clicking on "Favoites - Add to favorites", click on the "Organize Favorites" option. And try to add your entry.
Oh, and make sure you update your windows...

Yes this is my personal laptop and I do have administative rights. The only way I was able to enter pages into favorites was to go to organize favorites and create a new folder and then put my entry in the new folder
