Favourite Anti-Virus Program

Hi guys, I'm looking into getting a new anti-virus program and was wondering which one you guys thought was the best (Ideally it will have a spyware feature too)... I've recently used Zone Alarm but it's started to bug me and I'm not really a fan of Norton... So i'm not completely sure what I'm left with. I'd rather go for something which you pay for rather than a free software.

Seems every bodies asking “What’s the best anti-virus program”. Honestly, I don’t know, but I had a wonderful working relationship with AVG since 2001. Yet, just yesterday I uninstalled my old friend and jumped on the Avast! bandwagon. Not that AVG didn’t perform well, just that I wanted to try a new horse. Avast! !!!!!! FIREFOX !!!!!!! has a very high satisfaction rating at download.com. (forgive me for mentioning a rival, but one can glean a lot from a user rating of 4 & 1/2 stars from 3,625 votes!)


The one nag I had about AVG free is that you cannot schedule it to scan less than once a day without doling out some bucks and upgrade to the Pro version. AVG !!!!!! FIREFOX !!!!!!! never gave me a false positive the past 18 months, mainly because it never found a virus. I also used all the legit on-line virus scans out there and none of them found anything either!

The entire security front line is important. I owe my luck to !!!!!! FIREFOX !!!!!!! … SpywareBlaster …Spybot S&D immunize …Comodo Firewall and did I mention !!!!!! FIREFOX !!!!!!!
