Fax Software for windows and broadband

I am looking for windows based fax software (2000 and XP) that I can use with my broadband connection and not have to have a separate phone line. I would also like the software to be from a well known and trusted company.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreaciatred.

Sadly unless you use an internet based fax service like eFax you wont be able to use conventional fax software as far as I'm aware with broadband unless you use an online internet service like eFax.

dunno about cable but ADSL uses a different frequency than that of analogue lines even tho they share the same cable, it is possible to use a normal Fax/Modem on a DSL line if you have a line splitter and your ISP has a dual service package... check with your ISP.
