Faxing from and To PC

I want to get rid of all the junk fax that uses up paper.

My PC is linked by USB cable to a fax/printer - is there a fax software that will permit incoming faxes to bypass the fax/printer and deliver faxes directly to my PC email?

 

Go to Control Panel/ select Printers and Faxes/ if you don't have a Fax set up then you will need to set one up/ right click the Fax and select Properties/ select the Devices tab/ now select Modem Properties/ click the Receive tab/ tick the Enable Device To Receive box/ tick the Answer Mode as either Manual or Automatic after ? rings/ under When a Fax is Received option tick the Save a Copy in Folder box and then select a destination folder.

As far as I know you don't even have to have a Fax machine hooked up to the PC for the PC to receive faxes. Good Luck
