FBI Scam Warning

Three new warnings from the FBI's computer crime division...Three seperate scams to either harm your computer or even your identity. All three the FBI says look convincing and could fool even the most savvy computer users.

Yeah, these guys never give up.

I've recieved spam with my own name on the header.

I NEVER take anything recieved via email serious, unless I can follow through with a phone call to someone I know.

 

The e-card will fool most of the unsuspecting, unless they bother to check if its from a recognized addy!

They are having a laugh, an email from the FBI telling you you'v won the lottery or to send money to support the war on terror

My sympathy for the victims who fall for them but c'mon they aint savvy anything! :major

 

I've been seeing the "greeting"card one here and there, but not the other two yet.

Beware of unsolicited .pdf files!! Someone in my work group apparantly opened one and infected their PC . . . will people ever learn! rolleyes

A pox on all spammers and creators of mal-ware!
