feature film poll

I'm curious.
My wife will want to go see a movie based only on who is acting in it. (nicholas cage is one, the list is to numerous to post).
I go to see a movie based only on what it is about. I don't care who is acting in it. (unless of course it has catherine zeta-jones without any clothes on, and again, the list is to numerous to post).
simple question.
do women go to see a film based only on who is the star of the film and men only on the substance?

There are some movies that are crap with your favourite star(s) and others brilliant with an unknown. As far as my friends and I are concerned (ie males and females) we'll see a movie if we think it's good/with substance regardless who stars in it. If favourite actor(s) happen to star, then that's an added bonus.

i actually prefer substance over style... i dont care whos acting in it aslong as its funny or there is alot of action!! :major
