I cant find my music which i find strange also. the pictures seem to be ok. I just would like to get this stuff back if it is possible. I may be just dumb but a friend told me to ask here. thanks, benito

    You can use the search feature in the OS your using. Search for "bookmarks" without the quote and you are looking for a bookmarks.htm or .html file. You should see that it is mapped to the old drive then copy that to your desktop, open Firefox and import htm file.

    Thanks for the reply I have tryed this on the old drive but it will not let me open any of the files that I find could this be because of the new win7 instalation?

    No this should not be the case, I have just replaced the missus PC and pulled her old HDD out (XP) and was able to locate the bookmarks file and then "right click" and copy then paste it onto the the desktop. From there I could import the file into FF.

    Go to Computer>>>>>select the drive of interest and then search in the top right hand corner for the "bookmarks" file, e.g. searched all HDD on PC;

    Thanks everyone that tried to help me. Every search brought up bookmarks folders but they could not be opened for some reason. I got busy this week and gave up for a while with no time to work on it.
