FF right-click menu?

Is there something obviously missing from my right-click menu? It seems to have a lot of white space recently. Thanks!

Hey Caliban, your right-click menu is tiny! :-D

Mine seems to be missing something the last couple of weeks. I'm running Nightly Builds but that shouldn't make much difference. I see I have everything you do but where I have whitespace (4 lines) I can hover that space and it highlights as if there is an entry there but it just gives that little box as in the first picture.

I've been thinking about it and I think one missing entry could be from WOT. Seems to me I used to have an option to check the safety of a link in the right-context menu. I still have the WOT addon but no entry.

About two weeks ago Download Helper stopped working on most sites so I was troubleshooting that by disabling a few addons but I don't know if that is where the problem started or if it was already broken. Obviously I don't miss the entries if I can't even remember what they were but I don't like that it is broken.

I may have to redo my addons or create a new profile. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something obvious I was overlooking. Thanks for the screenshots for the comparison that makes it easier. It doesn't look like a FF problem but an addon problem.

Edit: It is not WOT because that options still shows up if I right-click a link.

ANYWAY! Both of my browsers have very few (if any) add-ons, so yeah - you're prolly looking at at an add-ons/extensions issue...

 

I have version 17.0.1 and checking the right click menu within an edit window as your screen shot produced
a menu with empty space, but it shows disabled or inactive items.

I got a bunch of Add-ons in mine as you can see in the second shot.

I think your copy/paste options are greyed out because you haven't highlighted text. If you highlight some text in the reply window they should become active.

There is something wrong with mine because I can highlight the large empty space in the right-context menu as if it contains three separate entries but each entry has no label. I just can't remember what used to be there. I have only about a dozen addons but I don't think any had a permanent place in the right-click menu.

I think I have to remove and reinstall my addons. Only half an hour to fix--I just hate messing with addons. I was hoping for something obviously missing from my menu.

 

I've never used this and you probably know of this already, but it could come in handy.

Instead of deleting all extensions, why not going into Firefox safemode first and see if it's an extension causing the problem?
