I'm running Windows Vista on my computer. i have a Dlink DNS-325 set up to share pictures. It uses Gallery 2. When I load a video, it will not create a thumbnail nor allow the video to play, only option is to download. The plug insaddress a program FFMPEG and provides a link to install. When I install it, it must be configured. As part of the configuration, it says "You must install the FFMPEG binary on your server, then enter the path to it in the text box below." I have put the application in the root directory of the DNS and used the URL "\\Servername\Volume_1\FFMPEG\" as well as numerous other variations and can't get past the test which says "The path you entered isn't a valid path to a ffmpeg binary." My research on the web talks Linux and terms that loose me. On one page, I read that it will only create a thumbnail photo but on others it will do streaming, video conversion... Most of what I can find deals with it's command line feature. Gallery 2 help page seems to be a bit too much geek for me to handle or I'm translating it wrong.

Does anyone have this set up through Gallery 2 and working?
