    Hello all.

I've been trying to play Final Fantasy XI on my XBox 360 through my D-Link router model number DIR-601. I have the latest firmware available. This is a wireless router but my XBox is wired.

According to FF's tech support I need to port forward TCP and UDP 50000 through 65535. I've done this numerous times on my own and twice through D-Link support and am still getting disconnected.

The game plays fine when it's connected directly to the modem, but as I'm not the only person in the house this isn't really an option.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? And does anyone know how to fix it?

    Update

I think I've fixed my problem. I upgraded my routers firmware to DD-WRT and that seems to have fixed my issues. Port Forwarding wasn't even needed.
