Fifa 2008 runs too fast

I am afraid my players will be exhausted in no time. How do I reduce the speed of the game. The clock runs fast as well.

 

try to lower the refresh rate ..i had the same problem with pes 2008 running it in window mode (85 hz), playing it on full screen brought it back to (60 hz) which solved the problem.

hope it works for fifa too...

 

You mean the speed of the players? I think there's a slider, as their are in most if not all EA Sports games in which you can alter "game speed." Check somewhere in the gameplay options menu.
