I have been using Jet Audio player as my media player for some time now. I use it to play pretty much any media (audio, video, etc) that i use. My annoyance is that although i have used the configuration tool inside Jet Audio and also tried to set the file association manually, anytime i double click on a native windows media format file (wma, wmv, etc) the annoying dialog box comes up asking me which program to use to open the file. I always select Jet Audio, and click the tick box to always use this program. But this never sticks, i can immediately click on another file and i will get the dialog box again. I have windows XP SP1. My computer doesn't have any problems associating non-windows (mpg, mp3, ogg, etc) files with Jet Audio. Anybody got any suggestions?

I did set the associations inside of Jet Audio, but they don't '"stick". In the Jet Audio preferences Jet Audio is set as the defualt player for almost all media format. I didn't bother for formats i don't use. I even tried unassociating wma and wmv's closing Jet and then opening it up and reassociating them and it still doesn't stick.
