File Conversion (Roxio)

A long while ago I had a Roxio program (I think version 5) that allowed you to save a large amount of data on a CD by converting it to a file type specific to Roxio.

I don't have the program anymore, and now when I put the CDs in a computer they are not recognized.

Any suggestions on how I can recover the data on these CDs?

the cd isn't recognized? or just the file on it?

if you can see the file that roxio made, what is the extention? (for example: .exe .doc, etc.)

 

CD wont recognize. The only time its ever worked for me is when that Roxio program is installed.

There is definitely data on the disc though, you. can see where it has been written

this might be your problem, has to do with UDF (Universal Disk Format)

not so universal tho..

there's a roxio udf reader floating around somewhere, but I cant seem to find it on roxio's website, and the link provided on the MS link is not valid. Good Luck.

 

that sounds like what i need. when i try to open the file it says "The Roxio UDFReader has not been detected"

but i think this puts me on the right track and will try to figure it out from there.
